Cellulo/D is a monumental projection that pays homage to the earliest moments of cinema. This creation revisits the Lumière brothers' films through the prism of artificial intelligence.
By summoning the memory of the very first public screening, the work revives the original wonder of the medium, while taking a contemplative (sometimes disturbing) look at the ability of artificial intelligence to reinterpret iconic images.
Cellulo/D invites a sensitive reflection on the evocative power of images and the aesthetic, ethical, and cultural issues raised by new technologies.
